2-day Science-20 conference under G20 Presidency of India begins in Bhopal
Presiding over the inaugural session on the first day of the two-day Science-20 conference under India’s G-20 presidency, Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, President of the Indian National Academy of Sciences, said that the goal of science is to work together with society to make it more sustainable, inclusive and equitable. He said that science and culture are interrelated.
Representatives of the scientific community from G-20 countries, invited states and international organizations are participating in this conference Organized in Bhopal on the theme “Connecting Science to Society and Culture”.
Indonesian Prof. Ahmed Najeeb Burhani, Representative of Brazil Prof. Ruben Olivenn and Dr. Rajagopal Chidambaram also addressed the conference.
The second day will begin tomorrow with a nature walk at Van Vihar,Bhopal. The G-20 representatives will also visit Tribal Museum, Bhopal and Sanchi.
