20 AMU students get Shervani scholarship

ALIGARH  : Twenty students of the Aligarh Muslim University who have passed Class XII examination in different streams with a place among the top 20 achievers have been chosen for the Shervani prizes (scholarship) given by the Bharat Seva Trust, New Delhi.

The Dean, Students’ Welfare informed that the students have been selected for the award of different amount of cash prizes, and the selected students for the award from Science stream include Efa Irshad, Widad Jameel, Zunaira Khan, Maryam Ahmad, Simra Khan, Amna Shameem, Falaq Naz, Harshit Mannawat, Shristy Varshney, Vamika Chanana, Adeeba Shahid, Afzal Khan, Abhishek, Varshney, Al Shifa, Mohd Nasrul and Swati Singh.

The students selected for the scholarship from Humanities stream are Umra Fatma, Arshi and Disha Sharma, and Tabish Masood has secured the prize from Commerce stream.
