202 cases disposed of at Samba National Lok Adalat

 

SAMBA : On the directions of National Legal Services Authority and in compliance with directions of the J&K Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat was held today here at District Court Complex, Samba.

A total 314 cases were taken up by the Benches out of which 202 cases were disposed of amicably and an amount of Rs. 61,74,988/- was settled.

Two benches were constituted for hearing the cases. The Bench no.1 was constituted for taking up MACT& Bank cases, Pre-Litigation matters, Civil Cases which consisted of Arvind Sharma, CJM, Samba and Rashi Verma, Addl. Munsiff, Samba.

Second bench comprising Madhu Sharma, Addl. Spl. Mobile Magistrate and Poonam, Munsiff for taking up of NI Act cases and Criminal Compoundable cases, Cases under 488/125 CrPC, D.V Act and Petty Offence Cases.

The representatives of Banks, Insurance Companies, Advocates and Litigants participated in the National Lok Adalat.
