21 -day Janbaghidari Abhiyan starts in district Poonch
Poonch: The Twenty one day long Janbaghidari Abhiyan launched by the UT administration commenced across this border district by holding public hearing camps by the district administration .
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav while interacting with media persons, said that as per the guidelines of the LG administration, the public participation programme viz Janbaghidari Abhiyan started in the district as the district and sectoral officers heard public grievances at their respective headquarters and documented the same for their redressal in an effective manner.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the objective of the programme saying that this grand public campaign has three components including redressal of public grievances, Public service delivery and delivery of development at gram panchayat.
The Deputy Commissioner added that special camps are being organised at different locations for hundred-percent saturation of the eligible beneficiaries under various individual oriented benefit schemes. He further said that all the SOPs guidelines are being followed while carrying out different activities related to the programme to avoid the risk of COVID19 infection.
The Deputy Commissioner has urged upon the public to ensure maximum participation in the programme so that the objectives of the programme are fulfilled and necessary benefit can be provided to the common masses.
