21st Annual Convocation to be held virtually at IIT Roorkee on 11th September 2021

Roorkee : Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is going to conduct its 21st Annual Convocation virtually on 11th September 2021 from 4 pm onwards. The event shall be graced by Chief Guest, Prof. Pradeep K. Khosla, Chancellor, University of California San Diego. Shri B V R Mohan Reddy, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIT Roorkee will be presiding over the function.

A total of 1804 degrees will be awarded this year. There are 912 undergraduate, 685 Post Graduate and 207 Doctorate degree recipients.

On the event, Prof. A.K. Chaturvedi, Director, IIT Roorkee, said, ” A Convocation is a solemn occasion that brings a smile on the face of every graduating student and his/her family. We exhort the graduating students to dedicate themselves to the profession they choose and to the society. We are happy to award degrees to 1804 students this year. I wish the graduating students all the best for their future endeavours.”
