26 Students from Aakash Institute qualify for the NTSE Stage-I Scholarship Exam in Delhi 

Delhi: An impressive 26 students from Aakash Institute, the national leader in test preparation services, have qualified for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-I scholarship in Delhi. Out of the 26, there are six students who feature in the Top Ten: While One student scored the Top Rank, two each bagged Ranks 2 and 7 respectively while one student got Rank 10.

The Rank 1 student is Animesh Kumar Jha (from the South Extension branch of Aakash Institute), while Rank 2 students are Anubhav Pandey and Hemanshu Garg, both from the Janakpuri branch of Aakash Institute. Two students bagged Rank 7 namely Aryan Arora and Umar Farooque, while Rank 10 was bagged by Ayush Chouhan, all from the South Extension branch.

Taking the mantle of success forward, 25 Aakashians have also qualified for the Junior Science Talent Search Examination (JSTSE) with 5 students from various Aakash Institutes in the city bagging positions in the Top Ten (Rank 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10).

The NTSE scholarship under the present scheme is awarded to candidates for pursuing courses in science and social science up to doctoral level, and in professional courses like medicine and engineering up to second-degree level. Under NTSE, 2,000 scholarships are awarded in the country every year. Identification of talent comprises a two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
