28 Persons Discharged After Completing Two-Week Quarantine Period in Uri

Baramulla: Authorities in Baramulla today discharged 28 more persons, who were quarantined at Administrative Quarantine, JNV Shahkote, Uri following their contact/travel history with the positive cases. These persons, hailing from Uri were discharged after successfully completing their 14-day quarantine period.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Uri, Reyaz Ahmad Malik said that those who had completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine are being released after tests are undertaken to confirm they are not infected with COVID-19. He further added that these persons were under thorough medical observation throughout their quarantine period and were discharged today only after testing negative.
SDM Uri said that these persons have been released today with the advice to observe home quarantine.
The Centre duty Magistrate, Mushtaq Ahmad Bloot, who oversaw their discharge and transportation and Medical Officer Boniyar were also present, on the occasion.
The discharged persons expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided to them during their quarantine period. They were asked by the experts to act as ambassadors in their respective areas and familiarize the people in their area about the necessary precautions that needs to be taken to avoid any kind of eventuality.
