29 Oxygen concentrators donated to JNMC

Aligharh: Various philanthropic associations and individuals have donated 29 Oxygen concentrators to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College to combat the surge of COVID patients.

According to the Principal and CMS, JNMC, Professor Shahid Ali Siddiqui, noted industrialist of the city and philanthropist, Mr Mohammad Zafar Alam, CMD, Link Locks Pvt Ltd has donated 10 Oxygen concentrators of 10 h/m. These were presented by Mr Muzaffar Iqbal on behalf of Mr Zafar Alam to Prof Siddiqui and Dr Saira Mehnaz (Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine) who was also present on the occasion.

Aligs Care, USA donated 9 Oxygen Concentrators of 5h/m. Dr Samina Salim and Dr Shahid Hussain (Office bearers of the Aligs Care) played a key role in the delivery of Oxygen Concentrators to the JN Medical College.

Further, 5 Concentrators each were donated by M/s M H Exports, New Delhi and Mr Nisar Ahmad Wani on behalf of Faizan-e-Mustafa Educational Welfare Society. The society also donated 1000 N95 face masks for their use on COVID patients. Mr Danish from Noida facilitated the delivery.

Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui said that the total number of Oxygen Concentrators available in the JN Medical College has gone up now to 38. Nine were previously available.
