4- Day long training programme on Swasthya Nidhi commences at Udhampur

Udhampur: A four days training programme on ‘Swasthya Nidhi’ Moblie App was conducted under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla to sensitize booth level group comprising of BLO, Anganwadi worker and ASHA worker regarding Health Audit in the District.
On first day, training programme was held in two sessions for the BLOs of Tehsil Udhampur. Through power-point presentations, the participants were explained about the use of Swasthya Nidhi App which is specially designed to capture the health status of the people during present circumstances.
While addressing the programme, DDC said that it is a unique initiative of the J&K Government which will help us to contain the spread of Covid-19. He appealed to the public of district to come forward and cooperate with survey teams visiting their door steps.
DDC said that 566 teams have been constituted to perform the health audit of all the citizens of the district. These teams will capture the health status of each and every person in the district and will also aware the people about the installation and use of Arogya Setu app, use of masks and other precautionary measures to be taken to contain spread of the COVID-19. He further added that this app will help to identify the symptomatic people and medical teams will check and advise them time to time. He added that the progress of survey is monitored on daily basis at the highest level.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nagendra Singh Jamwal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdahary, PO IWMP, Sapna Kotwal, District Information Officer, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, ADIO, Anish Sharma and other officers were present in the programme.
