4 Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) students selected for UPPCS – 2018

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the results of Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General/Special Recruitment) Exam-2018, commonly known as PCS-2018.

The number of Jamia (Hamdard) Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) students for UPPSC is 4. However, as many as 9 students of the centre appeared for the final interview held in July-August 2020.

These students have taken the coaching guidance and residing in RCA, Jamia Hamdard for the last one year or more and are also preparing for the UPSC’s Civil Services ( Prelims.) Examination 2020 scheduled to be held on 04th October 2020.

Shams Tabrez Khan and Abhishek Kumar have been selected as Deputy Collector, and Tahir Ahmad Majid and Suyash Narayen as Commercial Tax Officer. Abhishek Kumar has been the student of Jamia Hamdard RCA for the last four years. Last year he got selected in UP PCS as a treasury officer and is already under going through the training process. Shams Tabrez Khan is a student of Jamia Hamdard RCA for the last two years. He had qualified UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination 2019, but couldn’t qualify the interview. Suyash Narayen has been a part of Jamia Hamdard RCA for the last three years. He also got selected as Assistant Commandant last year.

The selected students will be placed as SDM, DSP, Asst. Commissioner (Comm.Tax), Asst. Regional Transportation Officer, B.D.O etc. in the state.

UP-PCS-2018 was one of the biggest recruitment exam of its kind held by the commission till date with 988 posts of 40 different kinds on offer, including 119 posts of deputy collector and 94 posts of Deputy SP.
