40 students complete training, Vice Chancellor SKUAST distributes certificates

Budgam : To felicitate students, who have completed special 240 hrs training programme under Small Poultry Farmer and quality feed grower programme, a valedictory function was organized at KVK in which Prof Mushtaq Ahmad, Vice Chancellor SKUAST, was the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Mushtaq impressed upon the students and KVK scientists and its functionaries to make this initiative a success. He said present available technology provides us opportunities to expand our experiences side by side with available latest resources.

VC reiterated that SKUAST will always be at forefront when interests of farmers are there. He appreciated and congratulated KVK Budgam for successfully completing these two training programmes, adding such initiatives will prove pivotal push in the overall new agriculture scenario and progressive farming.

On the occasion, VC distributed certificates among the candidates/trainees in different Fields.

The impressive function got concluded with vote of thanks by comments Dr. Nasir Ahmad coordinator KVK.

Earlier, Dr. Nasir gave detailed account of the activities of KVK center particularly in reaching to the farmers at gross root level.
