413 banks set up under ‘Ek Mask-Anek Zindagi’ campaign

Bhopal : As many as 413 banks have already been set up till now under the ‘Ek Mask-Anek Zindagi’ campaign, being conducted to protect people from the infection of corona virus. The mask banks have been set up in cooperation of voluntary organizations, public representatives and citizens of the state. The Minister for Urban Development and Housing Shri Bhupendra Singh has told to make the campaign successful with the active participation of all sections of the society. He further mentioned that mask is the most simple and low cost mean for protection from corona infection. Shri Singh stated that the pace of the campaign should be accelerated in cooperation of people in those urban bodies, where it is being conducted with slow pace.

One lakh 30 thousand masks received in donation

Under the campaign, more than one lakh 30 thousand masks have been donated by various organizations and citizens. Out of these, about one lakh 15 thousand masks have already been distributed. In Indore city itself, 16 thousand masks have been donated by the donors. As many as 600 self-help groups are participating in this campaign.

Better works are being carried out in Indore and Ujjain divisions. The campaign is being run in all the urban bodies.
