450 RWTH Students Awarded Scholarships to Support Academic Pursuits

Recipients of the Deutschlandstipendium from RWTH met their sponsors and other guests at Coronation Hall at Aachen City Hall. The RWTH Education Fund invited the guests to the event to kick off the new funding period and to present the recipients with their certificates.

A total of 450 students were selected for the 2023/2024 funding round and are now being supported by 129 sponsors. The scholarships are made possible by local, national, and international companies, associations, societies, foundations, and private individuals. They support students with outstanding educational achievements that show particular potential. Besides excellent educational achievements, their background, social commitment, or social background can also be taken into account. In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients have the opportunity to take part in a supporting program.

Rector Ulrich Rüdiger thanked the sponsors on behalf of RWTH and presented the recipients with their certificates.
