4th Edition of HCL Lucknow City Half Marathon 2019
Lucknow: The 4th Edition of “HCL Lucknow City Half Marathon, Lucknow” was held on Sunday 3rd February 2019. The Marathon was aimed at a healthy future for the residents of Lucknow, with a motto – “The Cause is You”. HCL Technologies was the title sponsor of the event. Through this Marathon, HCL also aimed at promoting a green and clean Lucknow.
The DM of Lucknow Shri Kaushal Raj Sharma IAS, Mrs Kamini Ratan Chauhan, commissioner, Commercial Tax (UP State GST), Government of Uttar Pradesh; along with Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Sr. VP HCL Lucknow and Rishi Kumar, Centre head HCL Lucknow, flagged off the 21 Km, 10 Km and 5 km runs in the 4th Edition of HCL Lucknow City Half Marathon 2019. This event was one of a kind and exceeded all expectations. The Marathon was flagged off from 1090 Chowk and was culminated at Gomti Nagar.
Lucknow, 3rd Feb 2019- The 4th edition of this running extravaganza “HCL Lucknow City Half Marathon 2019 powered by Dabur Honey” was exemplary in its own regard and has popularly become the annual Mecca for sporting and fitness enthusiasts, This 3rd February witnessed upwards of 4000 participants running in the event at 1090 crossing Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
People hailing from various parts of the country like Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Coimbatore, Allahabad, Meerut, Pune, Chennai, graced the event and we saw an unabated enthusiasm and fervor amongst all.

There was prize money worth Rs. 2.2 Lac that was split among the winners from across the aforesaid categories. Besides, all the finishers received medals, trophies as well as gift hampers.
To make the HCL Lucknow City Half Marathon more exciting, selfie zone booths was set up for runners to commemorate their run. Besides, Zumba sessions for the fun run and the 10 Kms run which is another form of exercise to stay fit are being organized.
