5 -Day training programme on Cyber crime concludes at SKPA Udhampur

 

UDHAMPUR : The five day long course on, “Cyber Crime” for the officers of J&K Police concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur, here today

As many as 11 Police officers from all over the J&K UT participated in the training programme. Eminent guest faculty from Academia, CID Hqrs J&K, Cyber Police Station, Jammu, delivered lectures to the participants on the different related topics.

During the training programme, the faculty of the Academy also shared their experience on the topics viz ‘Cyber Awareness, incident response, collection, preservation of electronic data, information gathering via IP address etc.

In the valedictory address, Sunmati Gupta, Assistant Director (Q) SKPA, Udhampur reiterated that the rapid growing challenges of Cyber Crime cause immeasurable loss to the state exchequer. Gupta laid emphasis that the police should be skilled with handling investigation of Cyber Crime cases, legal provisions and other issues related to Cyber Crime. He also laid stress on the participating officers to share knowledge gained during the training programme with the fellow policemen to make society feel safe and dignified.

The valedictory function was also attended by Ramesh Chander, Dy.SP, Private Secretary to the Director SKPA. The course was coordinated by Inspector Rohit Gupta and Inspector Dheeraj Thakur member faculty.
