5 day vaccination campaign in full swing across Reasi; 4020 administered vaccine in one day

REASI: The five day vaccination campaign ‘Panch divasiya vaccination abhiyan- Abhi nhi Toh Kbhi Nhi’ is in full swing across Reasi district with around 4020 persons administered vaccine dose on Monday.

The 5-day campaign was launched on June 26 by Deputy Commissioner, Charandeep Singh to achieve a target of 100 percent vaccination of 45 year and above age group.

Around 1201 people in the age group of 45 year and above, 2814 people in the age group of 18 year to 44 year and around 145 in the age group of 60 year and above were vaccinated in one day.

In the age group of 45 year to 59 years, 824 people got vaccinated with the first dose and 211 people with the second dose, while 18 people were administered the second dose in the 60 year and above age group.

Covid protocols were strictly adhered to during the entire process; time slots were given to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing. Everyone adhered to all the safety measures.

The vaccination drive was successfully conducted with the support of the management and the invincible spirit of all the participants.
