5 teachers from Satya Bharti Schools in Uttar Pradesh were awarded for the exemplary workdone

New Delhi: To mark Teachers Day, Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises organised a special event to felicitate and acknowledge the contribution made by teachers across regions. 26 teachers were awarded, out of these, 5 teachers from Uttar Pradesh received the prestigious Satya Bharti Educational Rockstar Achievers Awards (SBERA) 2020.

The virtual award ceremony was graced by Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Bharti Foundation (Founder and Chairman, Bharti Enterprises), Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Co-Chairman, Bharti Foundation (Vice Chairman, Bharti Enterprises) along with other senior members from the group. They appreciated their work and the contribution made by teachers to help students from unprivileged section of society despite difficult times.

These awards were given under four categories — Teachers’ Subject Knowledge Test (TSKT), Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) and Zero Investment Innovation for Education Initiatives (ZIIEI).

This year, a special category- The Teachers’ Changemaker awards (TCMA) — was added to recognize those teachers who went the extra mile to spread awareness about Covid-19 among students, their parents and the community.

3 bronze awards in the TCMA were conferred to Anjalee Khushvaha from Gurgawan along with Rana from Sikanderpur and Prabha Devi from Marena Wanger.

Saurabh Pratap Singh from Gurganwan and Atul Kumar from Sikandarpur Mahmood were conferred with the silver awards.

Awards such as these, bear testimony to the efforts made by rural teachers of Satya Bharti Schools who go an extra mile to deliver quality education along with all round development of the underprivileged students. This recognition sensitizes educators about the potential of innovative practices and encourages them to adopt and improve.
