50k beneficiaries provided free AYUSH medicines in district Samba; Ayurvedic immune boasters draw enthusiastic public response amid covid pandemic

 

Samba: Given the rise in covid-19 cases, the district administration Samba, in collaboration with department of AYUSH has intensified supply of its proven poly herbal Ayurvedic medicines across the district for effectively boosting immune system and post covid-care for out-of-hospital patients.

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta while informing about the initiatives taken under AYUSH said that Ministry of AYUSH has launched a massive campaign to distribute its clinically proved Ayurvedic Medicines to benefit the vast majority of out of hospital covid patients.

The DC said district administration has setup various ayurvedic camps for distribution of AYUSH Medicines which helps in boosting immune system. “50 thousand beneficiaries have been provided with free ayush medicines in different ayush medical camp for tackling covid-19″ added DC Samba.

The district nodal officer ISM, Vikram Singh Jamwal said department of Ayush has setup camps at DC office, SSP Office, PHCs, CHCs, District hospital, dispensaries, Revenue Offices, Police Offices, covid care centres and other places for distribution of ayush medicines. He said members of Panchayati Raj institutions and urban local bodies are also roped in for distribution of medicines in interior of district samba.” Public has shown exceptional enthusiasm in ayurvedic medicine and great response has been received at all levels. The drugs distributed included Ayush 64, Ashwagandha Tab, Tusli Tab, Amlakichuran Tab, Samsamani Vari Tab, Chywanprash Avaleha and others. The medicines have been proved through robust multi centre clinical trials and are completely safe added Nodal Officer ISM.
