59 key sector projects being executed in Kathua under RIDF

DDC Kathua reviews pace of progress

 

KATHUA: District Development Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting to review the status of projects funded under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) of NABARD in the district.

The meeting was informed that a total of 59 projects in different sectors are being executed under District and State Plan for infrastructure development in uncovered areas. The projects taken up include Roads, Bridges besides assets of Health, Flood Control, PHE, Irrigation, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry; Ayush etc are being funded under RIDF of NABARD.

The DDC while reviewing the physical and financial progress of the taken up works laid thrust on timely completion of those projects approaching the cut deadline.

Besides, threadbare discussions were also held on various issues related to fund flow, timely submission of Project Completion Certificates and Utilization Certificates, besides bottlenecks hampering the.

The DDC impressed upon the implementing agencies to speed up execution in view of the improved Covid situation. He also called for submitting Project Completion Certificates and Utilization Certificates of the projects completed to facilitate early commissioning of the public assets.
