5th World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy 2019 to be hosted by MIT World Peace University from 2nd October -4th October 2019

 

Hyderabad: The MIT World Peace University has organized the ‘5th edition of the World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy 2019 from 2nd October – 4th October’19. Organized on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhiji the conclave will be held at the World’s largest dome Philosopher Saint Shri Dnyaneshwara World Peace Prayer Hall, Loni Kalbhor, Pune, India.

With the main theme of ‘Role of Science, Religion and Philosophy for World Peace and well-being of Mankind’, the three-day event will have Eight plenary sessions incorporating different subthemes. The event will witness the presence of about five hundred people from across the globe, scientists, philosophers, saints, educationists, social workers, Global scientists, students among others.

The inaugural ceremony on 2nd October will witness world-renowned philanthropist, poet, Sanskrit Scholar and former Union minister Padma Bhushan Dr. Karan Singh as special guest of honor and will deliver the keynote speech on ‘Promoting Interfaith and Inter-religious dialogue for World Peace’. Along with him renowned scientist Padma Bhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar and eminent Indian computer scientist, IT leader and educationalist Dr. Vijay Bhatkar will be in attendance for the grand opening.

MIT World Peace University, Pune, India, has always been on the forefront of promoting the noble cause of establishing the Culture of Peace in the World through Value-Based Universal Education System with an appropriate understanding of the Role of Scientific and Spiritual Component of Life to develop a Holistic Peace-Loving Global Society.

Speaking on the occasion Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad – UNESCO Chair Holder; Founder, MIT Group of Institutions, President, MIT World Peace University, Pune, India, said, ” The union of science and spirituality can only bring world peace as enunciated by Swami Vivekananda, 125 years ago. MIT-WPU is committed to that belief and practice and is active in propagating Value-based Education Methodologies as a process for building peace in the future.”

He further added, “The 5th Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy is being held on 2nd October 2019 as a celebration of 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the great messenger of peace.”

World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy, is organized by MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) in association with World Peace Centre, Alandi, MAEER’s MIT Group of institutions and MIT ADT University.

Speaking about the conclave Rahul V.Karad, Executive President, MIT-WPU, said,” The World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy is being held at the magnificent World Peace Dome. The Eight plenary sessions spread over three days will witness renowned leaders and speakers like Ex Loksabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Ex-Central cabinet minister Murali Manohar Joshi, Governor of Kerala Dr. Arif Mohamad Khan, American Doctor Scott Herriott, Renowned Journalist and Political Analyst Ved Pratap Vaidik, Indian Sanskrit scholar Padmashree Mohammed Hanif Khan Shastri, Ex Union Minister and Member of Parliament (LS) Dr. Satya Pal Singh, Spiritual Master and Santulan Meditation Shreeguru Balaji Tambe, Ex-police director Dr. Meera Borwankar among others
