6 AMU students get placement

ALIGARH  : Six MSW students of the Department of Social Work, Aligarh Muslim University have been selected as “Young Professionals” by the Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad, Department of Rural Development, Government of Rajasthan, thorugh a campus placement drive jointly organized by the Training and Placement office (General) and Department of Social Work, Aligarh Muslim University.

The selected students, who will work for the livelihood development of the rural poor, especially women and the marginalized groups of Rajasthan, include Khayati Gupta, Mohd Sameer khan, Aarmish Rizvi, Omveer Singh, Md. Tanvir Alam and Syed Ammar Hussain, said the TPO General, Saad Hameed.

Prof. Naseem Ahmad Khan (Chairman, Dept of Social Work) congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of the TPO teams.
