6th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Data Engineering (ICCIDE-2024) at VIT-AP University

 

Amaravati : VIT-AP University hosted the inaugural session of the two-day “6th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Data Engineering (ICCIDE-2024)” on Friday, August 9, 2024. The conference, organized by the School of Computer Science and Engineering(SCOPE) of VIT-AP university, was inaugurated with distinguished guests and a vibrant audience of faculty members, research scholars, and industry experts.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Sangarapillai Lambotharan, Professor and Director at the Institute for Digital Technologies, Loughborough University, UK, and Guest of Honour Dr. Michael Fernando, Professor and Dean of Engineering and Computing at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. Both speakers highlighted the vital role of technical conferences in advancing research and facilitating meaningful dialogue between researchers and industry professionals. Their addresses provided valuable insights into the latest advancements and emerging trends in computational intelligence and data engineering.

Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor of VIT-AP University, emphasized the institution’s dedication to strengthening the synergy between academia and industry. He underscored the importance of research, innovation, and collaborative efforts in driving technological progress.

Dr. Nagaraju Devarakonda, Conference Chair, shared that the conference had received a significant number of high-quality research papers from various countries. The proceedings will be published in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series by Springer, ensuring wide dissemination and recognition of the research contributions.

 

Dr. CH. Pradeep Reddy served as the Organizing Chair, and Dr. Saroj Kumar Panigrahy served as the Organizing Co-Chair, playing pivotal roles in the successful execution of the conference. The conference also featured keynote speeches from leading experts in the field, who provided valuable insights into emerging trends and future directions in computational intelligence and data engineering.
