7 new professors join the BITSoM Faculty
New members from leading institutions are experts in whole brain thinking, ethics, finance for global corporations, influence and persuasion
Mumbai: BITSoM, the new-age business school based in Mumbai welcomes seven new faculty members to its already stellar faculty pool. They will teach diverse subjects such as ethics in management, influence and persuasion, whole brain thinking, compelling communication, finance for global corporations and persuasive writing, from a curriculum designed with deep industry engagement and to address the needs of increasingly digital organisations.
Welcoming the new faculty on board, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean, BITSoM said, “I am excited to welcome our outstanding new faculty. At BITSoM, our endeavour is to deliver a world-class learning experience with each subject being taught by teachers who are thought leaders in their fields and who can inspire our students. The new faculty members are:
• Mr. Dharmeshwar Upadhyaya, Director, Par Excellence, Teaching Faculty, Leadership Solutions Pvt Ltd. – will teach Influence and Persuasion
• Prof. Milind Shrikhande, Professor of Finance, Georgia State University – will teach Finance for Global Corporations,
• Mr. Morgen Witzel, Fellow, University of Exeter Business School – will teach Ethics in Management,
• Prof. Madhav Khosla, Associate Professor, Ashoka University and incoming Associate Professor of Law at Columbia University – will teach We the People.
• Ms. Preeti Singh, Consultant at Harappa Education – will teach Compelling Communication,
• Ms. Preeti Singh, M. Phil in Disarmament Studies – will teach Persuasive Writing and
• Prof. Sujit Kumar, Visiting Faculty at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and ISDM – will teach Whole brain Thinking
