73rd Student Scientific Conference of Young Scientists

The annual 73rd All-Russian (with international participation) scientific conference of students and young scientists is being held at Petrozavodsk State University.
Traditionally, the scientific conference of PetrSU has been held at the university every spring since 1948.

For three weeks, students of PetrSU and other educational organizations present their reports at 138 sections. This year there are 1,744 of them.

What is the impact of the waste from Segezha PPM on the germination of Scots pine seeds? What are the possibilities of using PPM waste for the restoration of technologically contaminated areas? How is trout farming possible in the White Sea? Is it possible to keep and reproduce the common octopus in a closed water supply installation in the Arctic zone?

These and many other topics are considered by students and schoolchildren in their first scientific reports.

The winners and prize-winners of the conference are awarded with diplomas, and the best reports of the participants are recommended for publication in the collection “Research work of students and young scientists of PetrSU”. The collection materials are placed in the Electronic Library of the Republic of Karelia , the Scientific Electronic Library Elibrary.ru and indexed by the RSCI.
