80 students from Guntur’s Narasaraopeta Engineering College grabs MNC Jobs
New Delhi: In the ongoing placement session in Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC), Guntur, a total of 80 students landed themselves in multinational companies. Thirty students secured placements in Cognizant, a multinational software company, 30 students got recruited by a leading consulting company- Savantis Solutions LLC, while 20 more students were placed in tech giant-Wipro.
Speaking about the placements, NEC Vice-Chairman Mittepalli Chakravarthi admitted that ” The efforts of our placement faculty are finally being realised by our students” ” Our emphasis on mock interviews and communication enhancement has helped students to excel in these interviews”
Congratulating the students, he disclosed that the average package of the students will be 3.5 lakhs annually.
More companies are lined up to visit the college for placements in the coming weeks.
The college conducts special classes for Aptitude, Reasoning, Coding, Soft Skills and English Communication proficiency to incorporate employability skills in the students of third and final years. These tests are conducted by well trained In-house faculty having expertise in their concerned fields. As a result, these special classes have proved to boost students’ soft skills and and get them place faster. Further, these qualities help the students work efficiently in workplaces as well.
