Arunachal Pradesh: Coordination Meeting of SSA Zila Mission held

Aalo: A coordination meeting was held among the functionaries of SSA Zila Mission, West Siang District, under the Chairmanship of M.K. Sahoo, DC-cum-DPD, SSA Zila Mission, Aalo at his office conference hall on July 2 last.

The DC-cum-DPD focused on the position of textbooks in the district and timely distribution of textbooks and uniforms in the school before 15 July. He suggested for the requirements and shortage of textbooks if any, may be reported to the Director School Education and State Project Director, Itanagar immediately. While referring to the mid-day-meal (MDM) he directed DDSE-cum-DPO to short out require items in the district through MDM I/C and make available at all schools. The school grant and maintenance grant should be deposited in the bank account as per guidelines.  The District Community Mobilization Coordinator was asked to impart capacity buildings training of all PRIs/SMCs/BPGs for their effectiveness. He further gave stress on civil works and proper maintenance of pupil teacher ratio (PTR) particularly 100 Gils’ Residential School of the district. DC appealed for quality education by training all the in-service teachers as per guidelines by the pedagogy unit of the district, sincerity and punctuality for betterment of schools and children of the district.

Earlier, the meeting begun with the  introduction from Shri Tomi Doke, DDSE-cum-DPO and all  the coordinators of the various intervention of SSA Zila Mission, West Siang.
