DC Anantnag visits EMRS, Sallia

Anantnag: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, K K Sidha today visited Eklavya Model Residential School Sallia, constructed under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP).

The DC on the occasion directed the Tehsildar Mattan for earmarking of additional 50 kanals of land available at the site for construction of additional structures.

He also asked Dy. Director Tribal Affairs and Executive Engineer R&B for preparation of DPRs for construction of said structures for which Rs. 5cr have been released.

During the visit, Siddha was informed that the Academic Block, Boys Hostel, Principal’s Office, residential quarters, approach roads and main Gate have been completed and work is under progress for construction of Girls Hostel.

The DC was accompanied by Deputy Director Tribal Affairs, Executive Engineer R&B, Tehsildar Mattan and field functionaries of the concerned departments during the visit.
