Dir Horticulture discusses implementation of CSSs in Samba, Jammu Districts

Jammu: Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak today convened meetings of Non-Gazetted staff of Samba and Jammu Districts at the respective headquarters to discuss various components of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, especially the training and human resources development. He instructed for timely utilization of the funds to achieve the physical targets.

During the tour to Samba, the Director also visited Horticulture Facilitation Center, Government Fruit Plant Nursery Vijaypur and Chemna Chak where he conducted thorough inspection of Mali Hut and availability of Nursery stock .He instructed HDO Purmandal to make the fruit preservation unit operational for preparing value added products to be sold through facilitation centre.

Anil Kumar Gorka, Chief Horticulture Officer, Samba and officers of the department accompanied the Director during the tour at Samba while Chief horticulture Officer Jammu S. Sarabjit Singh and other officers were present in the meeting at Jammu.
