Over 1 lakh Students participate in DSEJ’s Mega Campaign for Fit India Schools
Jammu: Over 1 Lac students participated in the one day mega campaign for ‘Fit India School Week-2020’ organized by the Directorate of School Education Jammu, to boost the registrations of schools under the central government initiative Fit India.
The event was conducted through offline as well as online mode across all the 10 districts of division Jammu, covering both winter and summer zone schools.
The Students participated in activities such as yoga, short races, cycling, local traditional games of the area etc., keeping in mind the holistic development of mind body and soul.
In her message to the students, teachers and staff members, Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, thanked everyone for the overwhelming response despite COVID-19 and asked them to continue working diligently so as to achieve the motto of Fit India Week- 2020 in letter and spirit.
Over one lakh students participated in the one day campaign which was organised as part of the week long Fit India School celebrations, while many more followed the event on various social media platforms of the Directorate of School Education Jammu. The event was coordinated by Govind Sharma from the Directorate with the support of Sunita Fotedar, State Nodal Officer, Fit India Movement.
