NASHA MUKT Campaign: Block level training programmes organised for ASHA workers in Rajouri

Rajouri: As part of the endeavour to eradicate drug menace, the District Administration Rajouri on Thursday organised training programme for ASHA workers at block levels under NASHA MUKT Campaign.

In these special sensitization programmes, as many as 1087 ASHAs were imparted training and sensitized about various aspects of the programme and the key strategies to be adopted to ensure its successful implementation on the ground level.

The participants were told that besides de-addicting the drug users, there is a dire need to address the major reasons which provoke the youth to take drugs. Drug abuse makes the youth dependent, incapable to face the challenges and finally takes their life.

The participants were also stressed upon to work religiously for elimination of drug menace and make district Rajouri a NASHA MUKT district under the Campaign NASHA MUKT BHARAT.
