Dir Finance HED inspects progress on GDC campus building at Sunderbani

Sunderbani: An inspection team led by Director Finance higher education Department, Abdul Majeed Bhat today inspected progress on Sunderbani Government Degree College campus building.

He was accompanied by Assistant Director planning, Fayaz Ahmed, Accounts officer HED, M.H. Tantray and AEE RUSA.

The team visited the construction site of the college building and took stock of the status of the work.

The AD Planning instructed the construction agencies to speed up the construction work to facilitate early shifting of the college to the new building.

Earlier, the Principal of the college gave a brief on the working of the college and the requirements for improving the working.

The Principal sought appointment of more clerical staff to meet the work load of the college having the strength of nearly 800 students. She also called for expediting the work of campus building to enable the administration to overcome the shortage of accommodation for the class rooms.

The Principal GDC Sunderbani, wholeheartedly thanked Director Finance for the various valuable suggestions and instructions and also for paying this much needed visit to the college to assess the ground reality.
