“Karelian souvenir” took part in the action “New Year’s miracle”

Karelian ONF activists held a New Year’s concert under the windows of the Republican Tuberculosis Dispensary, in which the Karelian Souvenir folk dance group took part.
In November, this hospital was converted into a covid center. At present, the employees of the medical facility are actively assisted by the 6th year students of the Medical Institute of PetrSU, 80 residents of the republic are being treated for the new coronavirus infection there.

The New Year’s performance was opened by the ONF activist, teacher of the Petrozavodsk secondary school No. 3 Viktor Kostikov. In the role of Santa Claus, he performed several New Year’s songs, started a round dance with doctors and members of the Karelian Souvenir folk dance ensemble of Petrozavodsk State University, who then performed several New Year’s dances to music.

Also, members of the “Karelian Souvenir” collective performed the dance “If there was no winter”, which was warmly received by the audience and gave a New Year mood.
