Business World has ranked The Gera School as Number One in the ‘Emerging Schools’ category, and a runner-up in the ‘Innovation in Curriculum in the Pre-School’ category. A total of 115 schools from across India had nominated themselves for these awards.
The Early Childhood Association, under its vertical Association for Primary Education and Research (APER), hosts the annual ECA-APER Hall of Fame Awards. This year, The Gera School won the award for ‘Excellence in Teacher Training Development’. The Gera School also featured in their list of ‘Top Ten Primary Schools’.
During the Business World Award Ceremony, The Gera School Principal Carol Joseph said, “We are only in our third year of operation and though we work hard at what we do, it is still extremely gratifying and humbling to achieve this. The award is a tribute to our Founders, the Gera family, and their vision – and to teachers who, by and large, are silent heroes in the progress of a nation. It also demonstrates our thought leadership which will immensely benefit our students. We are grateful to the parents who have shown great confidence and faith in us and have supported us throughout.”
