Films Division to stream films on Swami Vivekananda on National Youth Day

New Delhi: Films Division is celebrating National Youth Day on 12th January, 2021 by screening two films on Swami Vivekanada and his teachings. Since the year 1985, 12th January, Swami Vivekananda’s birth date is celebrated in India as National Youth day as a tribute to the patriotic saint and also to mark the contribution made by him to influence the youth of India.

The documentary “The Life and Message of Swami Vivekananda” (72 Mins / English/ 1964 / Nirmal Dey), showcases life and message of Swami Vivekananda and “You are the creator of your own destiny” (14 Mins / English / 1978 / Nithiyanand Dutta), addresses messages of Swami Vivekananda to the youth. Both the films will be streamed throughout the day, on Films Division website and You Tube channel on 12th January, 2021.
