ARTO Kulgam monitors traffic management

Kulgam: Acting on the directions of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, a team of officials led by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kulgam, Dr Mohammad Zubair Lattoo today conducted daylong drive in the Town to regulate traffic and prevent any traffic jams in the Town as well as other link routes.

The main focus of the drive was to prevent unnecessary vehicle parking on the roads which leads to frequent traffic jams.

Sharing details, ARTO said that the aim of this enforcement drive was avoid any major traffic jam besides ensuring that the passengers reach their destination well in time by making availability of transport to the general public till late hours.
