“This is an interesting experience for me. The topic of the contest is especially relevant at the moment. The idea of the project is to draw attention to the artificial factors affecting the health of people and the ecology of the urban area as a whole, which is significant to many people. In a fairly short time, I managed to put the idea into practice with high quality. In many respects, this was possible due to the cooperation with Mikhail Kanavtsev, my mentor, and teachers of the Department of Management and Quality Systems.”

Ilya plans to continue his work in this direction: conduct more thorough research and consider ways of handling the negative effects of urbanization.

The main goal of the One Day of My Country project is not only to find talented young people but also to unite them and draw public attention to the issues of natural resource management. In 2020, more than 400 students and young professionals in three age groups from 13 to 23 years old took part in the international megaproject.
