Fitness Camp organised at Chawalgam, Kulgam

Kulgam: In connection with the ongoing National Road Safety Month, the Motor Vehicles Department, Kulgam today organised a Fitness camp at Chawalgam Truck Terminal here.

Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kulgam, Dr Mohammad Zubair Lattoo said that the purpose of the camp was to conduct inspection of vehicles and renew their fitness certificates, transfer of ownership, transfer of permit, issuance of fresh registration certificates etc

Earlier MVD officials stressed upon the drivers to follow traffic rules and abide by Motor Vehicle Act and Rules. They also advised them to avoid over speeding, wrong overtaking and use of mobile phones while driving.
