Divisional Commissioner Kashmir reviews progress on major developmental projects
Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today chaired a meeting of officers to take stock of the work progress on major developmental projects across Kashmir.
The meeting among others was attended by MD JKPCC, CE R&B, CE KPTCL, CEPHE, CE I&FC, SEKPDCL, SE I&FC, EE Sports Council and others concerned.
At the outset, the concerned officers briefed the chair about work achievement, progress made on the projects and about bottlenecks being faced in the way of execution through power point presentation.
The major projects reviewed during the meeting included GMC Baramulla, GMC Anantnag, 200 bedded Pediatric Hospital Bemina, DH Ganderbal, 13 YSS projects which includes Indoor Stadiums, additional block at LD hospital, Semi Ring Road Srinagar, NH444 road projects, Transit Accommodations for Migrant Employees at Vessue, Wandhama and Shekhpora, bridges at Sharifabad, Bobsipora, Noorbagh and Ashmujipora, hostel accommodations, and various other major projects presently under execution in various districts.
The Div Com also reviewed the progress of work process on Grid Stations at Tengpora, Batapora, Chadoora, Lassipora, Khrew, Khansahab, Transmission lines, replacement of old aged transformer bank at Pampore, underground power cable project Wanganpora, besides various flood protection and anti- erosion works and WSS at Rangil, Rakh Khoi Baramulla, Brinti Batpora Anantnag, Shangus, Tral, Lift Irrigation Schemes, and other projects.
He stressed on timely completion of all projects being executed by R&B, JKPCC, I&FC, Sports Council, PHE, KPTCL and various other departments and agencies under various schemes
He instructed concerned to expedite the work process and submit month wise progress and instructed the concerned to ensure projects facing any bottlenecks are addressed on priority.
He impressed on resuming all works suspended due to cold weather conditions at the earliest to ensure all projects are completed within the set deadlines.
