UNESCO, the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Region and the European Union continue to reach out to students at home

Ensuring safe and continued learning is a key component of any integral response to COVID-19. UNESCO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Region, continues to reach out to students at home. Further technical support was provided for students accessing the online platform “Ewane” by delivering servers and laptops. This project is funded by the European Union.

Mr. Alan Hama Sa’eed Salih, the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, presented a reward to UNESCO Iraq Office in Erbil for the continuous support to education in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq by developing the existing education resources as well as through new blended modalities.
