The Medical Institute of PetrSU will train personnel for healthcare in India
On February 4, 2021, a working meeting of representatives of the PetrSU administration and the Directorate of the Medical Institute with colleagues from India took place on the issues of recruiting applicants for educational programs implemented at the Medical Institute in English.
During the meeting, the issues of the content and provision of educational programs, the readiness of the institute to accept students for educational programs with teaching in English were discussed.
Vice-rector for international affairs M.S. Gvozdeva outlined the main tasks of interaction in accepting applicants to the Medical Institute with training in English, spoke about the preparation of PetrSU and the Medical Institute staff to accept students from India, expressed the intention of PetrSU to continue working on the formation of training areas in English.
Deputy Director for Undergraduate Education M.E. Shubina, talked about the stages of training specialists with higher medical education – doctors and pharmacists, conducted an excursion around the theoretical building of the Medical Institute, the Accreditation and Simulation Center . She showed libraries, classrooms and educational equipment of the institute and strengthened the representatives of India in their intention to recommend PetrSU as an educational platform for training medical workers for the Indian health care system.
