AMU, Dept of Zoology students qualify JRF/ NET

Aligarh: Twelve students of the Department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have qualified the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC and CSIR.

Mukeem Ahmad, Muzammil Syed Shah, Akbar Husain, Javeria Fatima, Kajal Gaur and Nargis cleared JRF; while Arsalan Sayeb Butt, Moizzah Fatima, Mohammad Faizan, Yasha Taimuri, Himanshi Varshney and Ramsha Ashraf qualified NET.

Sheer hard work and guidance from faculty members led the students to succeed, said Prof Mohammad Afzal, Chairman, Department of Zoology.
