‘Educational Conference’ held at Kupwara

Kupwara: J&K Teachers Forum Kupwara today organized an ‘Educational Conference’ regarding opening of schools after Covid-19 Pandemic at Town Hall, here.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din who was Chief Guest on the occasion said that the students are the builders of the nation, who need good education to prove themselves in different walks of life.

He said that they have gone through tough times due to the pandemic crisis last year which impaired their effective learning process.

The DC stressed upon the concerned to get ready to re-energise the education process and allied activities in schools in view of possible opening up of schools after the yearlong Covid pandemic crisis. He urged upon the teachers to work with honesty and added dedication for overall development of the children for their better prospects.

Earlier, the Chief Education Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani briefed the DC about overall functioning of the School Education deparment in the district. He highlighted various initiatives of the department in educating the children during pandemic time through various means of virtual learning and community classes.

Among others, senior teachers and other concerned attended the conference.
