Rajouri Admin finalises Block, district Rural Road Plans under PMGSY-III

Rajouri: District Administration Rajouri today has finalised the Block Rural Road plan(BRRP) and District Rural Road plan(DRRP) for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana(PMGSY) PHASE-III.
The plans have been formulated in consultation with the BDC Chairpersons and the DDC members.
It is pertinent to mention here that PMGSY-III envisages the up-gradation of the existing rural roads and coverage of unconnected villages. An elaborate exercise has been carried out for the identification of the unconnected rural habitations and the roads which need upgrading.
The District Administration Rajouri has finalised 89 schemes for the Block Rural Road plan(BRRP) and District Rural Road plan(DRRP) under PMGSY PHASE-III, including 57 in Rajouri division and 32 of the Budhal division to be taken up in the next five years.
