ICDS Poonch organises awareness camp for adolescent girls

Poonch: An awareness camp for Adolescent Girls was today organised by Integrated Child Development Services Project- Haveli.

On the occasion, the school dropout adolescent girls registered in different Anganwari centers of the project, Supervisors, PRIs, AWWs, and locals attended the programme.

During the program, CDPO Haveli, Jahangir Khan briefed the main objectives of SAG scheme.He threw light on the health (mental/physical), hygiene, nutrition and skill development of adolescent girls.

Later, sanitary kits bearing Sanitary pads, hand sanitizer, Hand-wash and wipes were distributed among adolescent girls.
