AMU: FDP at Dept of Civil Engineering

Aligarh: A one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Waste Management: Challenges and Opportunities’ focussed on providing hygiene, efficient and economic solid waste storage, collection, transportation and disposal of waste without pollution, will be held at the Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) from February 24 to 28.

Organised by the Department of Civil Engineering under AICTE (ATAL), Government of India; the programme will have resource persons from IIT Roorkee, Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia, The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi and AMU.

“Wide topics on waste management will be discussed in the FDP which will likely have over 200 participants,” said Prof Sohail Ayub (Programme Coordinator).
