Delegation from Marwah calls on ADC Kishtwar; Projects issues of public importance

Kishtwar: A delegation of locals of the far flung area of Marwah, led by the Sarpanchs of the area today called on the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Parihar and projected the issues of public importance.

Assistant commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr Amir Hussain were also present on the occasion.

The delegation apprised ADC of various issues and projected a number of demands for the uplift of people and upgrading of the local infrastructure in the area.

The delegation demanded early installation of mobile tower to resolve the communication problem of the area.

They also demanded timely payment of pending MGNREGA wages so that their sustenance could be ensured.

The establishment of the various offices in the sub division was also sought for the convenience of the public.

ADC Kishtwar gave a patient hearing and assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in a time bound manner. He said that all the demands have been documented and will be forwarded to the concerned for assured redress.

A memorandum of demands was also submitted to the ADC Kishtwar by the delegation.
