Kissan Mela held at village Moud

Udhampur: One day Kissan Mela was today held at village Moud of zone Samroli in district Udhampur under soil health card component of NMSA 2020-21. The camp was organized under the guidance of Chief Agriculture Officer Udhampur, Subash Sharma.

District Development Councilor (DDC) Subash Chander, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the mela.

The chief guest lauded the efforts of the department and appealed the farmers to take maximum benefits of all schemes of the department.

While speaking on the occasion, the CAO Udhampur apprised the farmers about the various schemes of the department. He also called upon the farmers to improve the soil health by using the balance diet of the fertilizer for taking better yield.

During the camp farmers where apprised about the technique to collect the soil Samples for improving the quality of the soil.

Among others present were DDM NABARD, Rajesh Kumar Dutta; SDAO Udhampur, Rajesh Gupta; Sarpanch and panchs of the Panchayat.
