DIPR organises cultural prog at school for sightless (Girls); Educates students about Corona protection

Jammu : To raise awareness among the common masses about the Corona disease, Department of Information & Public Relations Cultural Wing, Jammu organized a cultural programme based on COVID-19 Do’s & Don’ts, here Louis Braille Memorial School for Sightless (Girls), Roopnagar .

President National Federation of Blind J&K, Mohinder Kumar Badyal was the chief guest, while Principal of the host School, Nivedita Shukla was guest of honour.

Senior Artists of the Cultural Wing, Mohinder Sharma presented a Dogri Song based on COVID-19 “Asian Saaren gee Samjhana ai Asian Corona itthan nasaana aye”.

Students of the school also presented song on Corona which was highly applauded by the audience.

The Chief Guest, while speaking on the occasion, lauded the efforts of the Department for organizing the event, which will immensely help in generating the awareness among students and general public regarding precautions against the Covid-19.

Senior artists of Cultural Wing, staff members, prominent citizens and students were present on the occasion.
