World Water Day: NCC Cadets of GCW Parade holds series of awareness events

Jammu: The NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Girls Bn, NCC of Government College for Women, Parade Ground, today organized a series of events to mark the “World Water Day”. The theme of the programme was “valuing water”. The programme started with pledge ceremony which was followed by poem recitation, symposium and poster making.

A large number of Cadets, under the supervision of Principal Dr. S.P. Sarswat and ANO Lt. Suman Lata and staff members of organized a rally to spread awareness regarding value of water in the households, educational institutions and integrity in our natural environment. The NCC Cadets also visited old age home and orphanage to spread awareness about , how to save water to make earth beautiful .

The Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the NCC Cadets and encouraged the students to spread information about importance of saving water in the community.
