Div Com Jammu reviews arrangements for “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” week 3

Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Raghav Langer, today reviewed arrangements for “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” week 3 activities in relation to Revenue Department here at a meeting with concerned officers.

The meeting was attended by Regional Director, Survey and Land Records Jammu, Additional Commissioner Central with Financial Commissioner Revenue J&K; Principal Revenue Training Institute Jammu besides other concerned officers.

Pertinently, the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav is being celebrated to mark the celebration of 75 years of Independence of India. The activities were inaugurated nationwide by Prime Minister on March 12, 2021.

Threadbare discussions were held to finalize various activities for celebrating “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” week 3. It was decided that the Revenue Department would screen documentaries on Digital India Land Record Modernization Programme.

The Divisional Commissioner instructed the concerned officers to organize centralized function at Jammu and screen documentaries pertaining to- Digital India Land Record Modernization Programme; Status of progress on digitalization of revenue documents, especially benefits of digitalization to the general public.

It was informed in the meeting that the Deputy Commissioners would also organize similar functions in their respective districts in association with JAKLARMA and the outsourced agency, Ramtech.
